Any one with other non MO health issues? I had thyroid cancer (3 years post-op).

I have thyroid cancer, i guess they say 'cancer' never goes away, but i have been 'cancer free' (due to surgery) for over 3 years. It is a VERY easy cancer to treat and cure, but will this in any way hinder my hopefully future WLS? I have a very supportive endocrineologist, who also treats my diabetes. I take thyroid hormones and will have to for the rest of my life (NO THYROID GLAND HERE!). Anyone with a similar experience????? Please let me know.
