How successful is this surgery for PCOS patients?

I have recently dianosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and my WLS date is June 4. My mom told me about a show that her friend watched that had a girl on there with PCOS who has only lost 50 lbs in 6 months. I was wondering if there is anyone out there with PCOs that is post-op that can share their story..Thank you in advance!
