Have increase in acid ?

I am 1 yr post op, have had to be on Zantac 150 mg, since surgery,it has continually increased to the point of being changed to a stronger med. called aciphex. Which has helped a lot with relieving the pain. Question is, why the increase in acid to the point of throwing up solid acid like bile, has something gone wrong?
