Has anyone been approved while on CMSP (like Medi-cal)

Hi, Im a full time student, so of course im broke. I don't qualify for Medi-cal but I do for another program called CMSP. Has anyone had this surgery and if so how hard was it to get approved? How was choosing a doctor? Anything else you can share with me would be great thanks.
