What is all this talk about rotting teeth?

I am about a week post-op and I am freaking out wishing I never had the surgery at all after hearing all this talk about rotting teeth, what the hell is the point of being smaller if your teeth is horrendous? Does anybody know how much calcium citrate we should be taking? and where can I buy calcium citrate? Anybody know what ferrous gluconate is?
