My Highmark BC/BS Policy looks like it has an exclusion, how can I get around it?

According to the my work insurance manual Highmark BC/BS will not cover:treatment, instructions, activities, or drugs (including diet pills) for weight reduction or control, including surgical treatment of morbid obesity: I have 1st appoint w/dr. on 3/20 is there a way around this ?
