IF ATKINS DIDN

Hi, I've done Atkins 2-3 times before and I never lost any weight, maybe 1-2 pounds in the first 2 weeks. I've been doing Atkins for the last one and a half weeks to get ready for surgery and again I haven't lost any weight, maybe 1 pound tops. But I can do Weight Watchers and lose every week. I know after surgery I must do high protien. Has anyone failed at Atkins but had great sucess with the surgery?
