Have bariatric surgeons at OSU Medical Canter negotiated new contract with Anthem?

I have Anthem HMO - it will pay for WLS for BMI over 40 (mine is 61)I have applied to OSU Medical Center(Columbus, Ohio)which is a provider on my list. However, in my packet to apply to program I found a letter stating that the surgeons were not accepting Anthem after November 2001, unless a new contract was renegotiated. Has anyone with Anthem HMO has WLS at OSU this year? Should I look for another program/surgeon while waiting to hear from OSU? When I sent application back last week I asked them if any of the surgeons accepted Anthem. Still waiting to hear. Thanks so much for any information. Carol Ryan
