My wife had RNY on 5-8 with complications, already discussing TT late next year?

My wife had RNY on 5-8, with some complications, (she is fine now), she has lost about 110 lbs since Jan. (she was on liquid diet prior to surgery to lose weight & reduce risks), she is already discussing in general terms having TT, and plastic surgery on arms and legs to remove excess skin, late next year. My ?? is i have seen on the board a few people having major complications and even dying from the bypass surgery are the same risks in place for the plastic surgery after the weight is lost, or is that a safer procedure. i have seen listed a 1% approx. death rate from RNY and other bypass surgery what is the rate if there is one for the post surgery excess skin removal?
