Spouse had surgery over 3 months ago, dr. about to give us the ok to get intimate?

(to whoever reviews the questions before they are posted, please review and change the wording if you consider it inapproiate) my wife had surgery early May, her dr. has put intimacy off limits due to complications that arose from surgery, at last visit dr gave us the green light to resume normal activities, i would like to ask if anyone had any problemns with being intimate the first time after surgery, (i.e. being creative and causing an injury, hernia), or are there things that we should not even try, (i.e such as oral sex)?
