Pain on left,back side

I am 9 days post-op Lap and Open. I have this pain in my left side in the back at the waist. It hurts when I take a deep breath, and when laying down flat. I feels like it doesn't have any thing to do with where my incisions are. I kinda feels like a pulled or twisted muscle. Dose any one know what this is?
