I have some awful pain and numbness

There is an area about the size of an orange just right on my drainage area that has become very painful. It started out as a numb spot and then has progressively become more and more painful over the last two days. Now there is a faint pink rash. The pain fills like a sunburn but goes much deeper and prevents me from doing a lot. I have had no other pain since surgery so this is throwing me off. I will call my doc today but want some of your advice. Thanks in advance. Kelly
