Undecided

My insurance have approved me for gastric bypass but I am undecided if I will still pursue the operation. I am 40 lbs. overweight and am thinking if I just continue to diet and exercise to lose the 40 lbs. I have lost 22 lbs. over the last 8 months with diet and exercise. Any suggestions or thoughts, I will appreciate it.
