I have to order a dress and I'm not sure what size!!!

I need a little bit of help. I had lap RNY 8/4/08 and I have lost 90 pounds. I was a size 26 and now I am a size 14. My problem is that I am standing up in a wedding 9/26/09. I have put off ordering my bridemaid dress as long as I can I have to order it this weekend. The women at the bridal shop said they can only take it in 2 sizes before it gets to deformed. What should I do, order the size they tell me and pray they can take it in? Order it a size or two smaller and pray its not to small? I'm still losing about 5-8 lbs per month but that isn't a guarantee and I'm not sure what to expect. Please help its a lot of money and I really don't want to look silly!!
