Has anyone on here been post op for more than 5 years?

I am considering having lap band surgery and really want to consider all the possible side effects. One thing that really concerns me is the effect this surgery could have on me years down the line. I am considering doing this because I want to live a longer life, so its important to me to know the long term effects of this good and bad. Thanks!!
