How do you know if you are losing the right amount of weight

How do you know you are losing the right amount of weight? I lost 45 lbs fast and now I have not lost anything in three weeks. Am I doing something wrong? I find it hard to eat very much through out the day. And water is very hard to. I can get 2 16oz bottles down but not much more then that. I have lost 45 lbs and 73 inches. Is this it? How long before I start losing again? I read maybe I was not eating enough. So I tried to get the protein bars with no sugar in them. I hope this will help.
