It hurts!

Hello everyone. I had surgery on Wed (5 days ago) I am not doing so well. I am experiencing a lot of pain. I also have lots od nausea and diarreah. I called my doctor this morning and he said it's normal. But i feel worse than I did the second at the hopital. I want to cry because of thi pain. He prescribed nausea meds so I can keep liquids in so I don't become dehydrated. How long does this take. I can't even stand or walk for a short periods. Please let me know if anyone has experienced the same issues. Please help. I'm in so much pain.
