Hair loss at 4 months post-op

How long does this hair loss last? I consumed 80-100 grams of proteins everyday and now my hair ifalling out by the combfull. I take biotin as well as many other hair, skin, vitamins. My anesthesiaologist said anesthesia does NOT cause hair loss. There's conflicting info out there. I did have anesthesia October 13 for some facial plastic surgery. Did this trigger hair loss that was going to happen anyway from my RNT in July? I have lost 40 pounds. Please, I welcome ANY comments here.
