I am 8 weeks out from TT & 2 hernia repairs

I went to the gym on Saturday for the first time since my surgery for TT and Hernias. Since Sunday night I have been having this very painful stinging on the left side just under the TT incision. The stinging is really bad. Is this a muscle stinging? Should I call the doctor?
