Do they cancel surgery because of a cold?

My husband has a cold and I'm having surgery in 3 days, I'm afraid that if I catch it, they will cancel my surgery. Nothing in my pre-op stuff said anything about avoiding sick people or anything, but I'm getting really nervous and anxious. I'm going to call the office tomorrow (today is Sunday after all) and hope for the best, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any info or experiance?
