Anyone dealt with Aetna Open Access for Gastric Bypass?

I submitted the paperwork on 9/14, they told it was not received. It was sent on 9/21/ they said it was received that day. I called today and they said it was received on 9/25. I was told it would take 30 days, then told 7 days, and then 3 weeks. How long does it take to get an approval? Should I call everyday? Has anyone had experience like this with Aetna. Thanks for you response.
