receipe for "double strength" milk
I have looked but have not seen this listed anywhere. The hospital where I hope to be having surgery done gave me a book with this in it. For one quart of double strength milk, make it ahead the night before--it is 4 cups of skim milk, and add 1 1/3 cup of powered dry milk. Stir and refrigerate. Stir again in the morning also. This brings the protein level up to 16 grams per cup.
