I have a hernia and my surgeon

I went to see my surgeon and he said my hernia was small but needed to come out. He also said that he could have an adominalplasty done at the same time. Will insurance pay for this more readily than if they were done seperately? I am nervous about the surgery. Do they have to go deep in your stomach again to remove a hernia? He also said he could make my scar smaller. Does a tummy tuck hurt bad? I mean I know the gastric bypass was major, but I seem to be more nervous about this. I don't know why. I know this is a lot of questions and I appreciate anyone who has had this done to let me know how it went. Thanks.
