SURGERY DATE RESCH'D?

Has anyone had the surgery cancelled at the last minute with Dr. Ali in Kansas City? If so how long did it take to get it resch'd? My date was for 10/30/03 and I got a call at 3 in the morning from him and his nurse saying there was an emergency and it would have to be resch'd.
