Has anyone had the vertical sleeve done at the weight of 205lbs?

I was going to have the lap band, but leaning toward vertical sleeve, my doc said I qualify. Also some patients complained the lap band is to slow and high maintence. also was told the vs would be better at eliminating my diabetes. If some one had this procedure at this weight, would you share your experince. I would appreciate it.
