Should I give up? Advice please...

I have been trying to have RNY surgery for almost two years now. This past December the surgeons office called and gave me a surgery date (03/03/09. They said that everything was in order, I had insurance approval, and good to go. I was thrilled! Then I received a call 1 week before the surgery date and was told that I needed a therapist's approval. I now have to see a therapist for a minimum of three months, then MAYBE they will let me have the surgery. I am so frustrated! I believe in signs. Is this a sign I should give up? - Kelly
