Scared Swallowed Gum

Today me and my family when on our summer vacation to the Grand Canyon and I was chewing some gum. "I know I don't usually chew gum however my ears was plugging up because of the elevation change". So I accidentaly swallowed the piece of gum about 8 hours ago. I have been able to still eat and drink with no problems. I still really scared though. Do you think I should be ok or do you think I should call my surgeon office? I had Lap RNY 6 months ago and it was a piece of surgar free Trident
