Abnormal EKG cancelled surgery date for now....

I went to my pre-op appointment at the hospital 2 days before my scheduled surgery and had my blood work done, a chest x ray and EKG done. When I got home, the nurse called and my Dr had cancelled the surgery until I have a full cardio work up and clearance. I dont have high chloesterol or blood pressure and no other known heart problems. A second EKG was also abnormal. I go to the cadriologist on the 8th. Any ideas what this could be????
