I am 61 ys. old. I will be 62 in Aug. Is there and age limit for lap band surgery?

I am retired now. I have always struggled with my weight since childhood. I started dieting seriously after I graduated from college. I am 5ft.4in. and I weigh 195. Last year I lost about 40 lbs. but as usual I am gaining it back. My knees are bad as a result of the extra weight and arthuritus. I am active and young at heart. I golf and do water arobics. Also please tell me how much the lap band surgery actually cost, please.
