what if i think i have a hernia and have already been approved?

i had a hysterectomy a few years ago and i have a ball in my stomach like the size of a grapefruit and have told my general physican and he blamed it on my weight anyhow if i really do have a hernia can they repair it when they do the wls (rny)?
