I'm 16days postop and I have an opening in my incision the size of a quater I told my doc he packed

some gauze and said it has to close on it's own has this happen to anyone and if so how did you care for it and how long did it take for it to close, any info would be helpful it has me worried to death and almost wishing i never had this surgery [i can't stand the sight of blood especially on me] thanks.
