I have mild aortic valve insufficiency and im scared to death to have my WLS

Hi my name is Heather and im 23yrs old. I just found out i have mild aortic valve insufficiency right before christmas 2009. I just had my consult with Dr. Chua on Jan. 22, 2010.. And now im just waiting for my insurance to approve the surgery. Im scared to death of not waking up because of this heart condition even though my cardiologist gave me the clearance for surgery with low risk. Im going to be having the realize band if my insurance approves it. Now here is my question. Has anyone had the realize band done with this heart condition called mild aortic valve insufficiency? If so was there any complications?
