HELP 8 days P-OP VSG have large amount of stool leakage when i pass gas

I seems that when i pass gas i dont even feel that i am passing stool with it. I dont mean a little skid mark either. I am scared that if it dont stop i will live like this forever. And i am 46 and will not live with pooping myself all the time. I am begining to regret the whole surgery now and am getting depressed as to what my life will be like for the future. Has this happened to anyother VSG patients before, and if so what and why do we fix it. I have no sensation that it has happened til i go to the ladies room to urinate and whammmo. HELP SOOO embarrassing to go online like this and ask such a ?, but i am desperateright now for answers.
