Can't go to the bathroom!

Having abdominal pains and it feels light I have to go but wont come out. I am trying not to push to hard but I know its there What to do. I have taken a mild laxative Fleet small orange pill but not helping. 3 months out of surgery lost 53 pounds but can't go to the bathroom
