2 hour glucose post op question

My pcp wants to do a 2 hour glucose study on me. I am post op and in major pain if I ingest more than 20g of sugar. (I have done this by accident before...never again!) I mean it feels like I am dying of a Heart Attack..almost like a Gallbladder attack. I am more scared of this test than my open RNY surgery. Not only that i am afraid of my sugar levels. I have major hi an low swings. ex: High 350 2hours later 42 and that is after a regular meal...not tons of sugar. I am scared to death that I am going to have a bad reaction. Any insights from anyone else who has had this test post-op? BTW from my regular blood tests they say I am not diabetic....are these even accurate on us post op? Should I request this test be done in the hospital to be safe?
