has anyone had open heart surgery before wls?

hi,i had open heart surgery 10/04 from clogged arteries,i am a little better now,and want to lose weight .considering wls ,,i am 6'0 300 49 yrs old. i have an ok from my cardiologist but for some reason i am still not convinced i am ok enough for wls. I want to know if anyone has been in my same boat? i have been doing research for over a year,havent read anywhere that someone had ohs before wls.Am I The Only One? thanks for taking the time to read this.Looking for some feedback.
