I can't sleep at night since my RNY

I had RNY 6/3/09 and beginning with the night I came home from hospital I've been having major problems sleeping. It's 1:00 or 2:00 AM (last night nearly 4:00 AM) before I sleep. I feel this electrical feeling 'surging' thu me and I have to move. It's not just my legs like in restless leg syndrome..it's all over. I's not caffene as I'm off that. I don't want to have to start taking RX for sleep but I'm at my wits end. I work full time so there's no taking nap during the day. Anyone had/having this problem?? My doctor suggested Benadryl or an OTC pill of natural sleep aids neither of which have worked.
