What is one thing no one told you before surgery that you wish you would have known?

I am winding up the steps required by my insurance for RNY and getting very excited! I should be having surgery in April or May. I was just wondering if there was anything that you experienced after WLS that no one had mentioned that you would now be willing to share with a pre-op patient? Also, what is one thing/appliance/food that you would recommend to pre-op's? Thanks!
