Sore throat, cold symptoms

I have been coming down with a cold. I am just over 2 weeks post-op rny, and I know my medication options are limited. Does anyone know of a medication I can take for congestion, sore throat, and ear infection symptoms? I understand I cannot take any NSAIDs, anything with pseudoephedrine, as well as medications that are sugary. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate. I apologize if this question has been asked already, but I was unable to find the answers when I browsed earlier. Thank you for any suggestions!!
