Has anyone's hair not grown back?

I am almost 6 mos post op rny and have been losing hair for about 3 months or so. My hair has always been so fine and thin anyway and now there are some places that you can see through to my scalp. I am worried that it won;t come back. I take biotin, use nioxin products, get my protein in, etc. Any thoughts on this will be appreciated.
