Drinking and eating at the same time...30 minute rule apply????
Hi. I had my Lap RNY on 1/31/08. My routine alot of mornings for breakfast is to have my protein drink as my meal. Well, lately, I"ve been trying to incorporate more calories and protein into the day, so I include some cottage cheese with my morning protein drink. IS this OK? Should the 30 minute rule apply here? It just hit me today that maybe the protein drink washes away the protein/nutrients from the cottage cheese...Since cottage cheese is a 'solid' food I THINK...maybe I can't do the two together. Any advice?
