Clothes don't seem to be getting any smaller

Hi, I had an open RNY on March 25,2003, and to date have lost around 53lbs. I'm really happy about that, what I don't under stand is why it seems that other people on this site that have lost that much weight, need to buy new clothes, I don't yet, they are alot bigger than they were, but still fit. Kind of frustrating. I should probably tell you that I started out at 355lbs. Thanks in advance for any info you can share.
