ALL FLORIDA MEDICAID PATIENTS HAVE TO BE APPROVED BY

My surgery was scheduled for 4/23/02 and at the last minute (literally!!) I was told that although Medicaid had o.k.'D the WLS that Key Pro was the top of the Authorization ladder and they basically work as the Hospitals Advocate to make sure that they (HOSPITAL) get paid. It's been a week,tommorrow and still have heard no news! No news is not good news to me in this case. Anyone with info please e-mail me at [email protected] THANKS! SHEILA
