18 months wl b4 surgery how do i?

how do i pass the time? lol i have medicare and the dr said that is what they require but im wondering if anyone has had to do it and it took less than time?i dont know if my knees can handle another 1 1/2 yrs with all this weight on them.ive tried to lose yr after yr but nothing seems to work and stay off.this was my last effort.
