Protein bars? So many carbs and calories!
I'm 4 weeks post-op (RNY) and my nut says to be off liquid protein and use protein bars instead. I've checked out a lot of brands but was shocked at the carb and calorie amounts. She says 200 cals is ok, but those with that amount have carb amounts of over 30! And the protein amount for these is only between 9 and 20 grams. I'm inclined just to try to get my protein naturally...thoughts?
