Anybody have high white blood count not associated with infection?

I am on my 3rd round of antibiotics with no symptoms presenting other than high white blood cell count. I'm 5 months out, super morbidly obese, and loosing at a fairly rapid rate. Is it possible that my body is reacting to the "crud" being released into my body from fat cells breaking down? Anybody else experience this? I've got two stumped docs.
