Anyone have surgery with Dr. Shin

I seen Dr. Shin and loved him and then my PCP decided to send me to see Dr. Akkary and I liked him too. However, Dr. Akkary wants to do the lapband due to I have CHF and my BMI is 59. He told me if he did the bypass that there was a chance that where he cuts and puts it back together could come apart due to how much I weigh. I did not get that from Dr. Shin he said he could do the bypass without a problem. Why would one said it would and another would tell me it would? I do not get it at all. Now I am worried to have anything done. Help please?????
