has anyone experience sagging skin in throat?

I had my tonsils out when I was ten. After surgery, I developed a tonsil in the back of my throat. I developed white stringy stuff from my throat and it began burning. The dr. thinks it is a yeast infection and gave me some anti-fungi medicine. The lump is still there. He also said that it is not a stricture because I was able to drink and take my meds without incident. However, he did leave me on liquids because I had a feeling as if I had a lump in my throat. I have now progressed to week three and beginning week four in a few days. The dr does not know if this will go away.
