Bowel Movements

So i keep reading how everyone is constipated after surgery. I am 5 weeks out of LAP RNY. I seem to have small bowel movements several times during the day. Sorry if this is too much info! They are at times a little mucousy and loose. Is this just my body adjusting? Being constipated doesn't sound so bad right now!
