How do you keep your picture from disappearing off your site?

I CAN GET MY PICTURE ON MY WEB SITE BUT FOR SOME REASON WHEN I GO TO CHECK IT THE PICTURES ARE GONE. SO HOW DO YOU KEEP IT ON THERE WITHOUT HAVING TO REPLACE IT EVERYTIME YOU CHECK YOU SITE?
